Deaf Education Ohio unites the entire community surrounding Deaf and hard-of-hearing students across the state. We are a dedicated nonprofit network that brings together families, teachers of the deaf, educational interpreters, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and Deaf adult role models. Together, we share resources, foster collaboration, and break down barriers to ensure every learner has the access, support, and advocacy they deserve to thrive.

A day of learning, connection, and shared purpose.
The inaugural Ohio Deaf Education Conference brought educators and professionals from across Ohio together for a day focused on professional learning, collaboration, and strengthening Deaf education. With engaging sessions and opportunities to connect with colleagues, the event created a space to share knowledge, build relationships, and explore ways to better support Deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
The conference was more than a day of learning—it was the beginning of something meaningful for Ohio’s Deaf education community.
